Our activities coordinator ensures there is always something meaningful and fun to do at Cerrig yr Afon, and that everyone has the opportunity to remain active within the local community.
They spend time getting to know each resident and their interests. This helps us tailor our activities to ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy their favourite pastimes and find new things to enjoy.
We have a weekly programme of activities and events, built around the interests of our residents, with additional one-to-one time for personal hobbies.
From arts and crafts to flower arranging, gardening to exercise classes there is always something exciting to take part in.
We offer a range of leisure opportunities within the home that will enable the people we support to build upon their existing skills and knowledge and to also find new things to enjoy.
We actively encourage friends, families and representatives to visit service users as much as possible and join in with activities at the home. We are more than happy to provide meals for visitors that they can enjoy with relatives. Provisions can be made for those in our care to be visited in privacy and comfort where they so choose.
