Cerrig yr Afon aims to provide an environment that all Service Users can regard as their home. We recognise that the home, its staff, policies and procedures must be client and person-centred to ensure that the highest standards of care and support are provided at all times.
We will provide care and support that is influenced by current research and guidelines relating to good practice; tailored to meet individual needs, choices, wishes and aspirations of the Service Users and will be honoured and respected at all times.
Staff at the home will make themselves available to discuss any matter with the Service User or their chosen representative and their views and opinions will be respected and valued. We will endeavour to involve the Service Users, wherever possible in the ongoing arrangement and review of care and support to be provided.
Confidential information will always be treated as such and the right of Service Users to personal privacy will be acknowledged. The right of privacy will extend to bedrooms, bathrooms and all personal space.
Above all, Cerrig yr Afon strives to create a home, where in comfort, safety and security, the Service User can be supported to live a lifestyle that they themselves wish to lead.
